Q. What is the Notice of Health Insurance Marketplace?
A. The Notice contains information that may assist you in seeking to comply with the individual mandate to obtain medical coverage. Employer Shared Responsibility provision of the Affordable Care Act, Kelly must provide you information (or notice) about the Health Insurance Marketplace.
Q. What should I do if I need information regarding the Health Insurance Marketplace?
A. If you have general questions about the Marketplace or its health insurance offerings, refer to www.Healthcare.gov.
If you need additional information regarding your employment with Kelly in order to apply for insurance through the Marketplace, you should contact Kelly’s Benefits department at email@example.com or 800-376-4964.
Q. How will the Affordable Care Act impact the Benefits Alliance Plan available from Leslie & Associates?
A. The Benefits Alliance Plan includes a variety of insurance products on a completely voluntary, employee-pay-all basis, such as life, disability, medical, dental, vision, critical illness, and accident coverage. Because Leslie & Associates makes its own decisions on which insurance products they offer in the Benefits Alliance Plan, they determine whether to offer Affordable Care Act-compliant medical policies. If you are interested in purchasing medical insurance from Leslie & Associates, you are encouraged to ask them directly which of their medical policies, if any, will satisfy the Affordable Care Act’s individual mandate. As a reminder, Affordable Care Act-compliant health care coverage is available for purchase through the Health Insurance Marketplace at www.healthcare.gov. Overall, we do not anticipate changes to the insurance program offered by Leslie & Associates as a result of the Affordable Care Act.
Q. If I am eligible for Affordable Care Act coverage, how will I receive an offer of coverage?
A. If you are eligible, Kelly’s Benefits department will use U.S. mail to send you an offer of Affordable Care Act-compliant health care coverage; the communication will be mailed to your Payroll Address on record. Please ensure that we have your most current address at all times. Contact the Employee Service Center at 1-866-KELLY-4U (535-5948), via the MyKelly.com online form, or contact your Kelly representative to verify or change your address.
